If You Already Signed

Even if you have already signed the reverse mortgage application, you are NOT obligated to use that company! You may still be able to get the reverse mortgage from me for the cheapest price.

However, if you have already given the company your signed, original, HUD counseling certificate, while it is possible, it is not really practical to use me to get the reverse mortgage. You would need to get another original counseling certificate, and your mortgage company would need to release your FHA case number to me, which they are not likely to do for free. So unless you just can’t stand to work with your current company, I would not recommend that you try to switch to me if you have already given your HUD counseling certificate to the current company.
